Natural Materials That Work With Any Room
Woven wood shades are made from natural materials — bamboo, jute, seagrass, reeds, and various grasses. Each material has its own texture, weave density, and color range. The result is a shade that reads warm and organic in a way that synthetic fabrics rarely replicate.
Utah's dry climate is an advantage here. High-humidity environments cause natural fibers to swell, warp, or develop moisture issues over time. The Salt Lake Valley's low humidity keeps the materials stable year-round. South Jordan homes get the organic aesthetic without the maintenance concerns that come with woven wood shades in coastal or high-humidity markets.
Warmth by Default. Privacy When You Need It.
Standard woven wood shades filter light without fully blocking it. Natural weave allows some light through, creating a warm diffused effect that works particularly well in living rooms, dining spaces, and home offices. If you want more light control or nighttime privacy, a privacy or blackout liner can be added to the back of the shade without changing the exterior appearance.
Motorization is available for all woven wood shades. They're well suited for large windows in main living areas where manual operation on a 10-foot span would be frequent. Battery-operated motors work in retrofit installations with no new wiring.

Every project starts with a free in-home consultation. Ashley brings samples to you. She measures every window herself. The shades are ordered to your exact specifications and installed by our team from start to finish. We carry Alta and Graber, two of the best shade manufacturers in the industry, and offer a Manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty on all products.
