Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

West Shade Co is working to bring this site in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is not a one-time project, so we review the site as we add pages and fix issues as we find them.

What we have done

• Set the page language and a logical heading structure on every page.
• Written descriptive alternative text for images that carry meaning.
• Chosen text and background color combinations intended to meet contrast requirements.
• Made navigation, the design quiz, and the FAQ accordions operable by keyboard.
• Labelled form fields and buttons so screen readers announce them clearly.
• Kept motion limited and avoided anything that flashes.

Where we know we fall short

We would rather tell you than pretend. We are actively working on:

• Improving focus visibility on some interactive elements.
• Reviewing the homepage image carousel for screen reader and reduced-motion behavior.
• Completing an audit of alternative text across older project photography.

Third-party content

Some content on this site comes from outside services, including embedded Instagram posts and Google reviews. We do not control how those are built, so their accessibility may differ from the rest of the site.

If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, you do not have to work around it. Call or text us at (801) 455-8013 and we will take your information, answer questions, and book your consultation over the phone. Ashley also brings samples directly to your home, so nothing about our service requires you to use the website.
