From historic Avenues bungalows to downtown condos and Sugar House remodels, West Shade Co designs and installs custom window treatments across Salt Lake City.
Ashley comes to your home with samples and looks at every room in its actual light.
You explore the options together and land on what fits. We measure every window precisely.
Your coverings are made to your exact measurements by trusted makers like Alta and Graber.
We install everything and program any motorization. Professional installation is always included.
Salt Lake City homes run the gamut, century-old brick in the Avenues, mid-century in Sugar House, and glassy new condos downtown, and each needs a different approach. We match the treatment to the architecture and the light, whether that's custom Roman shades for a historic living room or motorized solars for a top-floor unit with a valley view.
Because Salt Lake City changes block to block, from pre-1930s homes with original divided-light and arched openings in the Avenues and Yalecrest to mid-century houses on the west side, window sizes are rarely standard. We measure and build to each opening, which matters most on older homes where nothing is quite square.
Neighborhoods we serve in Salt Lake City: the Avenues, Sugar House, Federal Heights, Yalecrest, Capitol Hill, Rose Park, and Glendale.
That UV hits your floors and furniture every afternoon, and glare washes out the mountain view you bought the house for. Solar and cellular shades cut the heat and glare while keeping your Wasatch view intact, and cellular shades insulate your windows year-round to help lower your energy bills.
